Today we take a look at Michele Soavi’s 1987 feature film debut, Stagefright (AKA Aquarius, Deliria, and Bloody Bird…). This criminally underseen slasher film is one of the greatest slasher movies to emerge from the late 1980s.
Soavi’s lush visuals, tons of gore, and a cast featuring David Brandon, Barbara Cupisti, and John Morghen (AKA Giovanni Lombardo Radice) make Stagefright one of the high points of slasher cinema history.
