Tokyo Gore Police features Audition’s Eihi Shiina dismembering a bunch of genetically modified super killers in a splatter classic that could have only come from Japan. Merge David Cronenberg’s body horror with Paul Verhoeven’s biting social commentary, mix in a healthy dose of anime, and a few million gallons of geysering blood (just like in Lone Wolf and Cub) and you get what is arguably the greatest film of the second wave of Japanese gore cinema.
This gaijinsploitation classic has it all — girls with swords, weird fetish clubs, a penis cannon, samurai showdowns in Tokyo, and enough blood and body parts to satisfy the most discerning gorehounds.
Will this be our first 5 barf bag Sick Flick? Check out the video and see for yourself.
