BBC One Commissions new quiz show The Finish Line
BBC One Daytime has commissioned brand new quiz show The Finish Line to air later this year.
Made and filmed in Belfast, Northern Ireland by Potato (part of ITV Studios) and Nice One Productions, this competitive show will see contestants battle it out on an iconic racetrack set, as they speed along the studio floor in a series of thrilling quick-fire, quiz races – and all that matters is they cross the finish line.
Filming will start later this month in Northern Ireland and applications for contestants are open until 10 March 2023.
BBC Daytime commissioning editor Alex McLeod comments: “I am so excited that we are bringing a brand new quiz format to the schedule. This new show will be packed full of excitement, anticipation and will have audiences on the edge of their seats – and we’re chomping at the bit to announce who the hosts will be!”
